Facials are an essential skill for any beauty therapist. The treatment is relaxing and beneficial to the client in maintaining healthy skin. This one-day diploma course enables you to recognise different skin types and conditions during the initial consultation with your client.
The course can be carried out either in our training room, in your salon or in the comfort of your own home at no extra cost. Should the distance fall outside a 12 mile radius, a small fuel charge may be charged.
Students will receive a Dazzle School of Beauty Diploma upon successful completion of this Facial Treatments Course, which is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. This will enable students to apply for insurance, which is necessary to work in the UK. While attending this course, we provide all the products for you, so there is no need to purchase a kit to attend.
There is a maximum of two students admitted on the course. If both students attend then the training will be on a “give and receive” basis, as we believe that it is important to not only carry out the treatment but to also experience the treatment for yourself. However, the course will not be cancelled should only one student be booked on the course. You will complete the course on a one to one basis with your Tutor, and will be asked to arrange to bring a model along for the Practical Session.
The course will include working on the face, neck and shoulders using a variety of techniques and products, which will be supplied by us. Prior to being able to purchase products from a skincare supplier, a diploma in facial treatments will need to be obtained.
Guidance will be given as to which products you will be required to purchase in order to start offering quality treatments straightaway.
A non-refundable deposit of £35 is required and the balance of the course fees is payable 14 days prior to commencement of the course. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
- No previous knowledge or experience is required
- Qualification – Dazzle School of Beauty Diploma accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists
- 0.5 day – Learning in your own time and completing an assessment, which will need to be emailed to your Tutor for marking prior to the Practical Session Day.
- 1 day – 9.00am to 3.00pm (approx) – Practical session.
HOME LEARNING
Once you have paid for your course, you will be granted access to the reading material and mini test, which will need to be sent onto your Tutor for marking prior to your Practical Session course day. Students will not be allowed to obtain their Diploma unless this test has been satisfactorily completed.
PRACTICAL SESSION
- Morning – Practical training and demonstrations.
- Lunch – a 30 minute lunch break (please bring a packed lunch). Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided on the day.
- Afternoon – Give and receive facial treatments or work on your model.
