All types and all ages. Our courses are small and friendly, and are suitable for people from all walks of life.
Some students will be existing therapists, looking to add new skills to their range, and some will be just doing the course for their own pleasure, and maybe to work on family and friends. Some want to start a new career, with a view to working in a salon, or their own business.
The online course is designed to give you material to obtain professional knowledge regarding your chosen subject. The Diploma (which includes a practical assessment with the tutor), allows successful candidates the opportunity to obtain professional insurance in order to work professionally as a beauty therapist.
If you have a therapists uniform you could wear this, but if not just wear something comfortable with sensible shoes and minimal jewellery, with long hair tied up.
No, nothing at all. You will be provided with a manual which you will take home with you. You can make notes in this. We have plenty of pens and paper and tea & coffee etc will be provided. We have a kitchen, fridge and microwave if you want to bring a packed lunch.
Yes, all our Diploma courses are approved and accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists, which means you can obtain insurance once successfully completed. This insurance allows you to legally trade and work within these areas.
When you successfully complete your chosen course you will be awarded a Dazzle School of Beauty Diploma. With this you can join one of the professional associations and obtain insurance. This is sufficient for many salons or if you wish to work for yourself.
Our students are extremely motivated and keen to learn and we only have a maximum of two students on a course. In a college you would spend a major part of each day on theory, whereas we spend most of the day concentrating on practical training, with a lot of the theory covered by home study, with the use of our manuals and recommended links and books.
No, there is no need to purchase any kits from us to complete your course. All equipment and consumables are included in your course fees. We purely suggest kits to enable you to begin trading within these disciplines. We are non product biased so can give you impartial advice on equipment you may wish to purchase or already own.
This is not a problem, but we do need the test to be completed before we can issue your diploma. Please contact the school.
Yes, they hold professional and teaching qualifications. They also have years of experience working in commercial salons, teaching in colleges and running their own successful businesses.
If for any reason you are not completely happy with everything, we will arrange for you to attend the course again free of charge! We also have practice days available for a small charge, if you feel some months down the line that you need to come in to fine tune your skills.
You will work on fellow students as we feel it is beneficial for you to also receive the treatment; this gives you more empathy with your clients. If, however you are unable to receive a treatment for any reason, please telephone the office to discuss model arrangements.

Please telephone us to discuss your individual requirements. We can, for example, arrange for written tests to be answered orally if you have reading/writing difficulties, and if English is not your first language you may bring an interpreter with you.
No. You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications at all. We work right from basics. However, as we are working with small classes(two students maximum), if you have experience it will not hinder you either. Specific courses require you to have previous qualifications e.g. Gel/ Acrylic nail enhancements requires a Manicure qualification prior to booking. Please check the relevant course page for details.
The course times do vary and are available day time and evenings, so call Tina to arrange a mutually convenient time for your course. We will always try to start your course on time, however finish times are subject to student knowledge, numbers etc. so may be variable. Our stated start & finish times are a guide.
