Gel is becoming extremely popular as an alternative to acrylic nail extensions. It is hard wearing and glossy, this gel can be worn with tips and is an ideal alternative to acrylic. To achieve a professional finish that will ensure repeat business from clients, it is essential that students acquire the necessary skills to properly prepare the nail first, before applying any extensions or overlays.
Our one day Accredited Gel Nail Diploma Course, will enable you to offer a full range of nail services to your clients and enable you to earn more income for your business, which can be carried out either in our training room, in your salon or in the comfort of your own home at no extra cost. Should the distance fall outside a 12 mile radius, a small fuel charge may be charged.
Students will receive a Dazzle School of Beauty Diploma upon successful completion of this Gel Nail Extension Course, which is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. This will enable students to apply for insurance, which is necessary to work in the UK. While attending this course, we provide all the products for you, so there is no need to purchase a kit to attend.
There is a maximum of two students admitted on the course. If both students attend then the training will be on a “give and receive basis”, as we believe that it is important to not only carry out the treatment but to also experience the treatment yourself. However, the course will not be cancelled should only one student be booked on the course. You would be able to complete the course on a one to one basis with your Tutor, and you will be asked to arrange to bring a model along for the practical session. If this is a problem please contact us and we may be able to assist.
Guidance will be given as to which products you will be required to purchase in order to start offering quality treatments straightaway.
Please note: You must already have a manicure qualification before attending this course. If you don’t, please feel free to have a look at the Manicure & Pedicure course, which we offer*.
A non-refundable deposit of £35 is required and the balance of the course fees is payable 14 days prior to commencement of the course. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
Requirements for this Course:
- Students must be over the age of 16 before commencing with this training course.
- A Manicure & Pedicure Qualification is required *
- No previous experience is required
- Qualification – Dazzle School of Beauty Diploma – Accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists
The Structure of the CourseDuration 1.5 days:
- 0.5 day – Learning in your own time and completing an assessment, which will need to be emailed to your Tutor for marking prior to the Practical Session Day.
- 1 day – 9.00am to 3.00pm (approx) – Practical session.
HOME LEARNING
Once you have paid for your course, you will be granted access to the reading material and mini test, which will need to be sent onto your Tutor for marking prior to your Practical Session course day. Students will not be allowed to obtain their Diploma unless this test has been satisfactorily completed.
PRACTICAL SESSION
- Morning – Practical training and demonstrations.
- Lunch – a 30 minute lunch break (please bring a packed lunch). Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided on the day.
- Afternoon – Give and receive Gel Nail Extension treatments or work on your model.
