  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

Combine two parts honey with one part apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your clean face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with tepid water followed by a cool rinse. This soothing mask can be done three times a week.

This wonderful mask heals, balances the pH and moisturizes the skin. Honey is a known humectant and natural antibiotic that heals and moisturizes. Apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH of skin and soothes damaged skin.

 

Hydrating Coconut Oil and Honey Mask

  • 1 Tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp of honey
  • 1 Tsp lemon juice

Mix coconut oil, honey, and lemon juice. Use raw honey if you have it, since it’s high in antioxidants. Massage the mixture onto your face in a circular motion for 2 to 3 minutes. Let it sit on the skin for another 20 minutes and then wash with warm water.

 

Glowing Sour Cream and Honey Mask

  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

Combine sour cream with honey and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Apply to your cleansed face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water followed by a cool (not cold) rinse. This mask can be done twice a week. This mask is said to exfoliate, heal, brightens up and moisturizes the skin. It refines pores, fades acne marks and prevents blemishes from coming up.

 

Oily Chickpea and Almond Oil Mask

  • ½ cup of chickpea flour Tbsp of coconut oil
  • 2 Tsp of ghee/almond oil
  • 2 Tsp turmeric powder

Mix a ½ of a cup of chickpea flour and 2 tsp of turmeric powder and ghee or almond oil and combine them with water to make a paste. Apply it on the skin for 5 minutes and rinse with the cold water. Turmeric can treat and prevent acne and scarring.

 

Acne Prone Turmeric and Honey mask

  • ½ Tsp turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp honey

Mix a 1/2-teaspoon turmeric and 1 tablespoon honey together. Leave the mask on for 10–15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and can help reduce inflammation in the skin. Powder or plant, turmeric can be turned into a paste for topical application. Mixing it with honey, which is an antioxidant-rich product that’s also naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial may help soothe inflamed skin and prevent future breakouts.
