Are your nails in a poor state?

If you are like me, always have your hands in water……my nails are weak, split, peel and then break! So, I always have nails at different lengths. I have found the solution to this problem……….

Read on…. look for a nail hardener, something like Sally Hansen, which can be purchased at most supermarkets. They offer to enhance a layer on top of your nails to reinforce their smooth and natural structure. These products use ingredients like nylon and sulfhydryl protein. Nail hardeners make your nails feel harder and become less prone to splitting and breaking.

With looking at the ingredients within these products ……you ask is a nail hardener good for your nails?

Absolutely yes……A nail strengthener will help protect weak, fragile nails from damage, and gradually help repair and rebuild them until they’re strong, healthy-looking and shiny. Nail strengtheners are particularly beneficial if used immediately after removing nail polish, gels or false nails as this is when they are most vunerable to breaking.

Another helpful tip is that this product can act as a protective barrier between the nail and nail polish thereby preventing discolouration to your natural nails. Apply one coat of a natural nail strengthener, in place of your regular base coat, before applying your beautiful nail polish.

Perhaps also consider having regular basic manicures, with the right polishes, this is the healthiest for your nails. Also too do not use your nails as tools….and watch them grow!

Treat your nails as jewels, not tools!
